1970-81 Camaro/Firebird UMI Rear Sway Bar

UMI's 3-way adjustable rear sway bar controls body roll and improves cornering performance of the 1970-81 Camaros & Firebirds. Polyurethane bushings offer a quiet ride. Sway bar rate is easily tuned to achieve desired handling balance. 3 different holes offer adjustment, polyurethane end links and bushing/clamshell included. Works with factory leaf spring pad. Gloss black powder coat for durable finish.

UMI Part #2634-B (gloss black)

*IMPORTANT Fitment Notes*
1970-1973: Rear sway bars were not standard equipment, therefore frame rails do not have threaded bosses for sway bar mounting. UMI PN 2636 must be installed. Factory Z28 and Trans Am had mounting brackets welded on the chassis to allow use of some sway bars. Removal of these brackets is required and UMI PN 2636 must be installed in order to use 2634 or 2635 rear sway bars.

1974-1981: Frame rails have mounting bosses for sway bar brackets. If undamaged, these are used with UMI 2634 rear sway bar. 2636 can be used as a repair plate if the factory threads or mounting area is damaged.
